Privacy & cookies

About this notice
This notice covers the QR generator at your-expert-tech-qr.iarnold21.chatgpt.site. Our business privacy policy explains how we handle support and other communications with Your Expert Tech.
Your QR content
The generator converts your text or link into a QR image on your device. The app does not send that content to our servers, store a QR history, or track scans of downloaded codes. Content remains in the page until you clear it or leave; your browser may independently restore form entries. Downloads remain wherever you save them. Anyone who can scan a code can read its contents, so avoid including secrets or sensitive personal information.
Hosting and technical information
The site is hosted through Sites on chatgpt.site and served through Cloudflare. Loading the site sends normal technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time, to hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the service. Provider-controlled security logs and retention are separate from QR generation. This app does not control those retention periods.
Cookies and local storage
No optional analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies are configured in the app. Essential hosting protections operate independently of the notice and cannot be switched off through it.
- Cloudflare __cf_bm: hosting security cookie observed on this site, used for bot protection. Cloudflare describes its lifetime as 30 minutes of continuous inactivity.
- Cloudflare challenge cookies: security checks may use cookies such as cf_clearance when a challenge or browser check is performed. Their lifetime is controlled by the hosting provider and the cookie's expiry.
- yeti-qr-privacy-v1: browser local storage written only when you choose “Continue with essential only.” It stores the notice version, essential-only choice and expiry, not your QR content. The app treats it as expired after 180 days and removes it on the next visit. Local storage may physically remain until that visit or until you clear it.
Use Cookie settings in the generator footer to reopen the notice. “Dismiss without remembering” removes our saved notice preference and closes the notice for the current page only. Browser settings can clear or block stored data, though blocking hosting security cookies may affect access. Future optional trackers would require an updated notice and appropriate choices before activation.
See Cloudflare's cookie information and privacy policy for its security processing.
Contact, rights and accessibility
For privacy requests, correction or deletion requests about information you have sent us, or help using an inaccessible part of this tool, email support@yourexperttech.net. Please identify this QR generator and describe the request without including sensitive QR contents. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal information, or complain to your local privacy regulator. We cannot retrieve QR content that the app never receives.
External links and changes
Visiting our business website or a QR destination is a separate interaction governed by that website's practices. We will update this notice if the app's data practices change.
